I'm a non-trad looking to apply to med school for the upcoming 2021-2022 app cycle. I currently work for a government public health agency, and have pretty strong volunteer and leadership experience (pre-COVID haha), but honestly next to no clinical experience other than some hospital volunteering in high school.

I just got an offer to telescribe, and I'm wondering if it's worth it to accept? I'd mainly want a letter of rec, but I don't know if you'd form enough of a relationship with a physician when it's telescribing. Also, I'd be applying to med school in like four months, so I don't know if that'd be enough time to make my scribing experience worth it.

Any insight would be appreciated! Thank you.
This would not count as true clinical experience...it's too passive an activity, even in the age of COVID. If it's a job, that's always good in and of itself.
