I was wondering if the airforce or navy will teach you how to swim or fly an airplane along with your commitment. Does the airforce do both?

The Air Force has a curriculum to teach doctors about the fundamentals of aviation. During the courses, you get flight experience; however, you would have to get additional flight time in the civilian world to be eligible for a private pilot license.

Check this website out and read about the "AMP" courses: USAFSAM - Aerospace Medicine Education > Wright-Patterson Air Force Base > Display

I can't speak for the Navy; however, I know that they have numerous diving courses and there are fellowships for Dive Medicine.
