Hi all,
I'm looking into post-bacc programs currently, and right now, the Harvard Extension School is sounding really appealing (financially and location-wise). But I've had my eye on a few other programs, like Brandeis and Tufts, that provide a more structured program. My question, then, is: do med schools look at the post-bacc program itself as a factor in the application process? I know that ultimately the most important thing is that you fulfill the pre-med requirements and do well in them, but if you did those courses at, say, Tufts, does that have any bearing on you? (Btw, I'm not asking in the hopes of applying to get into one of these schools so that their reputation helps me get in or anything, I just don't want it to be a detriment if I end up at a lesser known program.)
This isn't to say that the HES doesn't have a good reputation, but it just seems less comparable to other post-bacc programs in terms of structure.
Any info at all would be a help, thanks!
