Hello,
I am currently a senate for the American Chemical Society and attend every student government meeting.

My question is do I need some type of proof in document form for my application, or do I just list my position?

If documentation is required how do I go about receiving/obtaining this?

1 more question: I currently have a 3.35 GPA as a sophomore. It is low I realize that and I'm working hard to raise it, but it is nearly impossible for me to get out of B+ range in sciences.

What is the lowest GPA and DAT scores to even be considered. I realize schools are different, but a general base line would be nice.

You dont need any proof for ECs or Volunteering. Your GPA is too early to discuss since you're only in your 2nd year. The lowest GPA will vary by school. However a DAT of 19 and above is necessary to be competitive.

From my knowledge, (I got in this cycle), you don't need documents about your extracurriculars. Put it on your application but they will ask about it so be sure you can back up anything you put on there. Some schools might do research but when you have 4000 applications to look at I don't think they'd have time to look up everyone's background. As for the minimum GPA and DAT, each school is different. Look up the schools you're interested in and look to see what their averages are. Then try to be above those and you'll be fine. Good luck!

no docs necessary. Don't lie though. You will most likely be asked about it in your interview(s) and some purposely try to see if you are bluffing
