I am an AUgust MCAT taker. CAlifornia resident but applied to michigan state and gotten nothing from them, So i called and the lady took down my LAst name and AMCAS ID and said she would try to get me some "action". DO you guys know if this counts for anything or she just took wanted to get me offr their tail?

I would not read into her comments. Especially as you took the August MCAT, and thus have been complete less than a month.

I'm just curious, she really said "i'll try to get you some action"? Not "I'll find out if there has been action on your application" or "You'll hear from us when action is taken"? They mean way different things...

Yeah she said" I'll try to get you some action" whateva that meant. I just called this morning so it's pretty fresh in my head

honestly, who knows what goes on in the head of an adcom? it sounds like she was trying to get you off the phone. i mean, why would she get YOU some action just because you called? maybe i'm wrong and she really liked the sound of your voice or something and put you at the top of the list...

obviously it worked because i called them this morning and got a secondary this afternoon. You have to huzzle y';all. So i am going to be working on that secondary like right now.

Thankshon,i have a friend there that likes the school.butdont worry, stanford is first on mylist but i am keeping my options open.Betterto be save than sorry and besides,it's a secondary not an interview.
