Does this volunteer experience count?

Does volunteering under a family member count? For example, we have family business and I volunteer all the time at the front desk, giving direct customer service (good way if increasing communication skills). Would that count? Would anything count that you volunteer for if the head person is a family member?

Yeah that can count. When the application opens up check to see if there are any other types of "activities" that might better describe the position, though volunteering does sound fine.
