Does UMDNJ Waitlist Move?

i know someone who was waitlisted last year and didn't get in. as a matter of fact, when she reapplied this year she got flat out rejected.
but anyway, i'm not getting my hopes up for the waitlist.

your best bet is to call the school and find out if they've filled up all their spots and how long interviews will go on. although its impossible to tell how the waitlist will move this would give you an idea of where you stand. good luck!
I called my interviewer and she said calling and showing interest will not help. You are ranked and they're just going to pull people based on the ranking.
I'm wondering that myself, though not for UMDNJ.
Some schools might release ranking, but UMDNJ does not. They indicated that in the waitlist e-mail you received (if you are waitlisted).

From what I feel, umdnj is a school that basically fills up their seats on dec 1st, hence when I was on the wait list I knew I had a small chance to get in. It stinks but maybe if you apply again with an improved application you might get an earlier interview and get in next cycle.
a friend of mine got in off the waitlist this year...he got a call last thursday
last year, another friend got in just a few weeks before class started
i still feel like those are rare instances with umdnj though ...i dont think their waitlist moves too much

I was just placed on the Wait List this Tuesday, so I don't think I could have got in that past week. Let's hope I get in before class starts 🙂 None the less, I guess I can't count on it moving at this point. It seems like I need to be friends with you though 😉
if i don't hear anything by april-ish i'm just gonna take myself off of the list. no sense in holding on to false hope at that point
The wait list has definitely began to move. I got taken off and there are at least another 4 on the FB group that have been taken off the wait list, as well.

i'm not too optimistic, but was wondering if anyone knows anything about the UMDNJ waitlist- i.e. if anyone recently withdrew or they know anyone who recently got taken off of it (since the last post, of course)...
