Ok, this might be a stupid question but I'm not in dental school yet. Does your college undergrad GPA, extracirricular, etc. count for when you apply for a specialty program? Basically, do they ask for your undergrad transcripts, or is there any where on the application that asks about undergrad?

Or is dental school the only thing they look at?

Thanks!

I don't think that specialty programs put very much weight on your undergraduate record. Dental school performance is more important. However, you are required to fill in your overall undergrad GPA on the PASS application and many programs do ask you to send your official transcript to them in addition to that. It really depends on the program; it may matter more if the program or specialty type is highly competitive.
