why would you "need" to know this?

I would like to approach the endo department at my school with information about what other schools are offering. Maybe if they see other schools are teaching this, they may be more inclined to add it to our curriculum. That's all, so can you help me out?

Thanks

We don't start endo for another month, but in clinic I've seen students using a rotary device. I am not sure what it is, but I know they put files on it and it spins at a very slow speed. Slower than a slow speed handpiece. They use it to "brush" the walls of the canals and open/smooth them up.

If I get the exact name of the device, I'll let you know.

Cool, so that's one for UIC. Thanks

Hopefully, I can get more people to reply. I know more schools are teaching rotary.

yes for nyu

Yes for Dalhousie.

You can go "Even in CANADA, they use rotatry!"

Yes for VCU. We use Brasseler EndoSequence.

Most of the practices that I interviewed with are using Protapers.

Thanks for the responses so far. I will use that line "even in Canada, they use rotary" hahaha.

If you know anymore please reply.
