Hi,
I was wondering if there are any advantages or disadvantages to doing 1 EM elective in the US and a 2nd EM elective in Canada?

Thanks for your input.

It only makes sense if you are a canadian medical student and want to stay in Canada for residency.

Bringing old topic back but,

Are letters from a Canadian rotation not as highly regarded as the ones from a US rotation? Do Canadians use SLOR too?

International med student here, so do not know much about US vs Canadian similarities, differences regarding EM world.

What would you suggest to an international student wanting to match in EM? 2 US rotations ? or 1 US + 1 Canada ? Would it make a big difference?

If you want to train/practice in the US, do your rotations in the US. Want to work/train in Canada, do them in Canada.
