Hey guys I have just been prepping for the mcat and right now I think I am at a point where I still need to do some content review but it is time to start hitting practice passages (test in about 6 weeks).

Now I have access to a huge amount of TPR practice passages (over 3000 questions easily) through taking the class (one huge 1000+ page book I haven't cracked open, and tons of online passages).

In addition, I have over 25 practice tests (TPR, TBR, and AAMCs) that I could be taking. I need practice in all of my areas, so do you think I should just stick to doing full length practice exams or practice passages. (I will def. do all of the AAMCs before my real exam)

I feel like I am wasting a lot of prep material I have by not doing it, but it is impossible for me to complete everything (I work full time).

Looking forward to your advice!

Thanks!

I'm not sure how your practice materials are organized but you should be doing related practice passages/questions as you review the content. Practice problems are the best test prep material so make sure you do as many as you can.

Definitely start doing some FLs. If you haven't taken an AAMC practice test, do so, so you can get a decent idea of where you stand. Then, in addition to taking all of the AAMC tests, I would also take all of the TBR tests, they are for the most part, accurate representations of what you'll see on the real deal. TPR FLs, on the other hand, are much harder than the real thing, and I would dub them a waste of time. So, start taking your FLs, and also do TBR passages that correspond to areas that you need content review in (you can learn content, and test-taking ability by taking these passages, even if you feel weak in them).

Exactly. Practice passages should be taken THROUGHOUT one's schedule. They're not something you save for the last minute.

FLs should typically be taken in the last month of your schedule along side taking further practice passages.
