It seems I'm consistently doing better on TBR passages than EK 1001 across all subjects. It's starting to worry me because my EK scores at the point where I'm getting more than 2/3 of the questions wrong. I time myself a min/question for both TBR and EK with a min or two to spare/for review each time. Any advice on how I can improve? I do go over the answers and write down things I didn't know. I'd like to do more questions to solidify the info but have no clue when to fit it in. (On sn2ed's 4 month)

EK 1001 are meant to be a little tricky and sometimes even ambiguous. However, if your scores are vastly inconsistent, then there may be a problem with content knowledge.

EK 1001 physics and chemistry are not that easy IMO, but their bio and organic are not difficult. At this point don't worry too much on how many you got wrong; just review thoroughly what you got wrong.

EK physics has way more actual physics and calculation that you would ever need for AAMC material

Yeah, I've noticed that I do noticeably better on ochem 1001 and bio in class exams...seemed kinda weird since I'm generally better at gen chem and have yet to take ochem.
