Hello everyone! I have a quick question about something that's been stressing me out. During my sophomore and junior years of high school, I did dual enrollment at my local community college and took General Chemistry and Biology 1 & 2 online. I did well in those courses (A).
However, when I got to my four-year university, my advisor recommended that I retake those classes in person and at my own university. So, I followed their advice, retook the classes, and did well overall; however, in one class I got an A- (which was worse than my original grade of an A), and now I’m second-guessing that decision. The main reason I retook the prerequisites was that the original courses were online and didn’t include a lab, which I needed.
I feel like this could be a really big red flag and error on my part. I really want to get into T30 schools, and I feel like this could affect my application. Did I make a mistake by retaking them? Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!
