So Im done with my first run through Uworld Random Timed/untimed and my percentage was 63%. I'm thinking of going through Uworld at least 1-2 times again and make more passes at FA is a >250 still possible I have a few weeks left.
how should tweak my plan accordingly?

I know a few people who said they did Uworld 4-5 times along with FA and got a >250, If you learn all of Uworld is it possible to get >250 just using these sources?

I'm on my second run through with world and i think only two times should be enough. you'll remember a lot of the questions but the key is to still read over all the explanations again. there will be some that you forgot..which is good because you can go over those concepts again.

are you strictly stickin with Uworld/FA as your only sources?

This might be a stupid question, but doing more than 2 passes means you would have to mark all the questions since you can't reset more than once, right? I'm curious do you know what the time difference between each pass for for people who do it multiple times? Doing so many in 1-2 months I'd assume would just make you memorize all the questions.

I'm trying to build my study plan, and I have a question:

is it feasible to be able to do all of UWorld in ~2 weeks or so (including a thorough review of the explanations) if you have already done one pass of FA and maybe another question bank like kaplan or usmlerx?

I'm on my second run through of UWorld and actually find it only somewhat useful. I feel like I went through the question answers thoroughly enough the first time that I know all the tested concepts very well. So, while the first run through I was maybe in the 60's. I'm in the 80's, 90's now (100% on some exams)

I'm still bad on some specific details though (especially drug interactions, side effects, etc.) and many of the biochem pathways...so it has been useful to point out where my deficits are and force me to concentrate on re-learning those sections less superficially than I did before.

But....I think Question Banks are more useful if you're getting scores in the 60s. This means they're challenging you and forcing you to learn. The QBanks are not meant to be self-assessments, they're meant to be learning tools. NBME's are what you should rely on to see how your studying progress is going in relation to Board Scores.

Accordingly, I've actually tried to switch a bit more to Kaplan QBank just because the questions are more foreign to me because I haven't gone through as much of that QBank. I'm more confident in my progress because when I pull up random question on Kaplan from those I haven't used....I'm scoring in the 70's. While, 3 weeks ago...I was scoring in the 50s/60s on new questions. To me, the 80/90% on UWorld mean very little right now- i.e. it's not a good gauge of what I know overall, just that I've already seen these questions before.

So, yes, UWorld and questions should be stressed during the last few weeks. Just keep in mind that they should be more of guides to identify weaknesses and/or review the material you should be re-reading in FA anyway.

Hope you make it! My goal is 240 and I got a lot to do over the last 4 weeks to get there.

hey everyone

how would you suggest to take the UW 2nd pass? all incorrect and marked? then what?
is there another way to redo all questions without resetting?

I have 2 month version, so there's no resetting option, began doing the 2nd all-questions-mixed-timed pass mode, but some questions repeat quite often...tried to custom test generating it with question ids from every previously taken test, but it says that it can't be done due to fact that I don't have unused questions.

so is there another effective way?

thanks in advance!

It should be doable. That works out to about 150 questions a day, which is a little more than 3 blocks. Assuming you're doing nothing else but UW, even if you take 2-3 hours to do/review a block, you should still be fine.
