Ok didnt know which thread to put it in. I was wondering y i only got 4 secondaries and while looking over my offical aacomas apps that got sent out A class which I thought was 4 credits (cuz the lab was part of the class) was actually 3 and I am deficient 1 hour of inorgo chem (only have 7 credits). So i looked at the course catalog and the course is listed as 4 there but only three somewhere else.

I already submitted all my apps, dont really know wut to do.

can I take it at a community college and somehow update my app that I am taking it or is it too late and I have to wait till next year to apply again?

also I already graduated and got my degree does that add to my troubles?

You can apply to schools with out having all of your requirements filled. I applied to Des Moines but have not taken biochemistry yet and there were no problems.

I am pretty positive that schools would reject you pre secondary because you because you were short 1 credit of inorganic chemistry.

All that matters is that you have that credit taken care of by the time you go to med school.

That being said, you can probably take it at a community college and update your app. In the meantime, you can call the schools to ask why you have not received secondaries. I wouldnt worry, in general Ive found that the DO app cycle is pretty slow. What schools haven't you ehard from? I still havent heard any word from NYCOM and I dont think anybody has on this forum (my app was submitted in early June).

i havent heard from any ny school, umdnj, azcom, either pcom, Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, A.T. Still University, and unecom

I am really pissed now cuz I was looking at the course catalog and it says that the course is worth 4 credits and i guess they changed it at some point, cuz my transcript only says 3.

How do u update? does it matter that Ive already been verified?

I didn't complete mine either. So you just need to complete the requirements by the end of the normal school year (so before the summer term) and everything should be good. I would contact the schools with the secondaries to inform them that you're still taking classes and had a complication where it wasn't added onto the primary.

I was taking organic II and lab when I submitted. Some schools will ask for verification that you completed it before considering you complete. All you do is send a copy of your transcript or something and then you send in a new version to aacomas. Thats what I had to do with VCOM.

yea vcom sent me an email saying that. I was just worried cuz I graduated.
