I am pursuing OT and have one year left of my undergrad degree. I am looking at schools, and saw that the University of Illinois Chicago has an OTD program. Does it seem like the field is heading in this direction? I haven't found too many OTD programs, so I was surprised when I found this one. They offer a bachelor's to OTD degree program or a Dual MS and OTD program. Which of these do you think would be better? Also, should I try to look at schools that offer OTDs only? Do you think a Master's would be sufficient? Also, is there the debate like there is with DPTs over if they should be called doctors or not? I would appreciate any help!!
