DO's in Ortho

Hello, I am an Osteopathic student interested in Orthopaedic Surgery. Are there any Allopathic programs that seriously consider DO students for Ortho spots? Can you offer any advice?

I don't know how many DOs matched into allopathic ortho programs last year (I've heard the number 15 bounced around on these forums, but I'm not positive where that information was found). However, there are some very high-quality osteopathic ortho programs, which you might want to consider. They've produced some very fine orthopedic surgeons, including many team notable physicians.
