I just want to warn others about this and to make sure they double check everything. Log into your account and make sure your information is correct. I logged into my account today at OUHSC and I realized my DAT scores are incorrect. They have a DAT score from 2009. I only took the DAT once and in 2011, so I don't know whose DAT scores they put into my account.... and the scores were:

AA16/ BS14/ GC15/ OC14/ PAT18/ QR14/ RC23

Not very pretty, correct? So, double check your all your status accounts! 🙂

I just found out a couple hours ago and I emailed them about it, so I won't know what happened until tomorrow. Hopefully all will be fixed by tomorrow 🙂 It does concern me, however, if other schools, those that do not post DAT scores, have the correct DAT scores .

I had to snoop around their website to find out about it 😀 No email.

She finally emailed me back this morning and I quote this, "You may need to contact AADSAS directly to take care of this as we do not have the ability to alter that application." I believe she misunderstood me. I will call them directly and let you know how it goes. 🙂

She just emailed me again and apologized for mis-reading my email. Basically, she told me to call them (OU) directly. I tried to call them but I got voicemail. I will try again tomorrow.

So if I didn't apply to OU how would I be able to check that my DAT Scores are correct there is no way to check them on the ADEA AADSAS website as far as I know, it just saya the date they were recieved... Thanks in advance!

Hello 🙂 I don't think it's AADSAS's fault. It was OU's error. I would be more concerned with the individual school's that you applied to... if you have access to their portal, I would log into all of them and check over what they have. However, I think most schools don't really post your full DAT scores.

Sounds like a serious mess to sort through if both of yours are already wrong. Probably guarantees a lot of phone calls and emails for the poor people at OU.

Yikes! One more thing to worry about now. Hopefully it's just the one school's glitch in the system and they can sort it out before it's to late for others who are not as vigilent.

I finally got a hold of the dental school advisor, and she said she'll fix it! 🙂

I asked her what happened.... and well... apparently they have another person with the same exact name as me (don't know how that's possible when I have a unique middle name)....... She had to use my birthday to identify me over the phone. I think it's a really, really awful mistake to make 👎 The advisor said she's going to have to fix the other person's scores too then... it's quite shocking and makes me wonder how many other people have mistakes like these and if other schools do this too I could have sat with an application to that school with a 16AA while the other person could have had my scores! Please check your portals 🙂

Your description of the situation sounds like the makings of a movie, the plot of which only us pre-dental nerds would appreciate. But really, I'm glad you got it all sorted out! That's so stressful!

Haha that sounds like it might just be an excuse. Because my scores are messed up too, and I have a really unique last name. Which number did you end up calling?
