When accepted to dental school, what is usually the down payment (percentage of tuition?) required to secure your spot in a class?

I had to give Case a check for $1000 within 30 days to lock-in my spot. On the other hand, NYU asked for $500.

my lowest deposit request was $700 and highest was $1500, with a couple of $1000's in the middle. if you said which schools you were interested in someone on here could probably tell you specifically what those schools are asking.

Creighton wants $800 total
UCSF wants $200
