hi all, my apologies if this has been asked and answered.

i'm planning to apply as early as possible in '08.

obviously if i take the April MCAT, my scores will be all ready to go as soon as AMCAS allows applications to go out.

however, if I wait until May to take the test, do i lose anything? i'd like to wait since i'll still be taking orgo III and bio III at that point and might as well get as much under my belt as possible. but will my scores get in too late to send out my application as soon as possible?

thanks, hope this makes sense.

Won't hurt at all. I took the May 16th MCAT this year and so I got my scores back on June 15th. I submitted that day, was verified in just a couple more days, and had my application sent off in the very first batch on June 21st.

So yes, a May MCAT date is just fine and dandy.
