Downstate Interview

Can someone walk me through the Downstate interview day? I have my interview scheduled in the morning followed by the info sessions and tours. Or at least that's what I think the schedule is. For those of you have already interviewed there, can you tell me anything else?

Also, who else is interviewing there tomorrow? I hope to see some fellow SDNers there!

Once you get to the office you'll get a packet with some info on the school and the name of your interviewer. You'll wait for a little bit then Ms Levine will escort you to your interview. It can last anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Afterwards you go back to the waiting area until the afternoon interviewers come. Bring some music or a book as you maybe waiting for quite a bit. Once the afternoon people come there's a short presentation about the school followed by a tour with some 2nd years. You'll hit the high points, the carousels, anatomy lab lecture hall and library. End with a tour of the dorms, then you have lunch in one of the study rooms there. After / during lunch afternoon interviewees will be pulled aside. Since you already interviewed, your day is done after lunch. I finished around 130 or 2. The people there are really nice. Good luck and relax!
