Did you ever think about volunteering to be the student representative for your school at medschool.com? I ask because I have found that you have been very helpful to me, and others in situations similar to mine will probably appreciate the candid advice you have to offer.

I've inquired about that, but they mentioned something about paying me. I have this irrational fear with being paid before the it's due time, and so I politely declined their "offer."

I didn't have a chance to see you at Second Look Day. Did you come?

I couldn't go. The day was bad timing. My wife is due to have a baby in the next few days AND the day of the "closer look" was her birthday. I'd be sleeping in the backyard with the dog if I went.
