I go to FGCU now and you literally teach yourself everything. In this school, problem based learning means the professors give you a scenario about a person with an injury and you narrow down what could possibly be wrong with them. This is done in team so if your classmates are lazy you will have a ton of work to do on your own. Then you get these insane practicals and orals where you may be asked things that were not covered in the material and you have to narrow the diagnosis down to one. That's not a huge concern though because you can study and retake the practicals usually. You're biggest concern should be why they hold students back from the year ahead of you (let's say the 2nd years), integrate them into the incoming class (so put them with the first years), and then hold back the exact same number of students in the 1st year class and move them into the new incoming class. Suddenly a 3 years program becomes a 4 year program. Awfully suspicious but who could anyone complain to when all decisions by faculty are "unanimous". Don't go here. Stick to your big schools.
