Based on my own experience and some of the posts that I've seen, I think the structure and content of the new test has changed to a point where the older Dr.Collins alone will not be effective, especially for the Biology section. If you are proficient in the subject matter and are just looking for a light review, maybe. But if you are looking for review that matches the rigor of the actually exam, Dr.Collins will not cut it. I bought the most recent three Pearson practice tests that reflect the new changes, which I think are the best and most closely lined with the exam, and the most recent Kaplan book as well as the a PCAT prep app that I bought definitely provided a lot of necessary supplement, whereas Dr.Collins was much more surface level. Maybe after this new exam Dr.Collins will update and be more reflective, but I just wanted to share my opinion for those taking the test in the future dates!
I'll post an update once I take the exam on the 22nd on how it went.

I found using the Dr. Collins along with the Kaplan to supplement did a good job for me.
Dr. Collins has a lot of the information..I just looked at Kaplan and there was nothing in there that Collins didn't touch up on, Kaplan just has more infromation. How was the Pearson practice tests for you..they're really good!

I struggled on the first 2 Pearson Tests but I did well on the last one. I focused on the questions I got wrong and tried my best to learn from them.
