Dress up for interview on Halloween

So I had my interview yesterday at Western U and I decided That I would try and do something crazy to make them remember me. I put on my Halloween outfit! It was a pretty crazy move but I think the faculty liked it. I was shocked that I was the only interviewee, I was hoping for some other predents could get a kick out of the outfit. I don't know if it was a stupid mistake, but Western U is 5th on my list so I didn't care.

The school was cool but they are WAY behind on their buildings. Pomona does not offer much of a life either. The Faculty was way cool and chill. You can tell that this is their first rodeo.

My brother is in their PA school so I dressed up in his Western U scrubs and crossed out PA and wrote "dental 2013" they though it was pretty creative.

That's bull. If you don't have a serious interest in the school than why apply? If it was your sixth and no longer cared, then why go to the interview. Essentially you wasted an interview spot that could have went to someone genuinely interested in the school.

I spend time on this board to help predents. Current dental students were very helpful to me when I was applying and I would like to pay it forward.

He wasted a spot??? You mean his stats and application was more competitive then someone else??

Perhaps he interviewed well and his costume shows off his more "human" side. Sometimes shock value works, sometimes it doesn't, I wouldn't judge too quickly because if the person he interviewed with had a good sense of humor you'd be suprised.

If anything it shows balls, and that my friend is worth something.


Regardless you can rest assured he will be remembered by the school and that can turn out great or horrible but its a high risk play and 99.9% of people would never attempt such an act.
