I called yesterday and the lady told me the letters were mailed out late Monday so we should be getting them end of this week or early next week! eeps!
 
got my letter today. waitlisted :-/

Looks like I'll be bringing the ol' checkbook out of retirement and reapplying next year....

It's all good. I'm from NJ. I'm sure your letter will be coming soon. I'd imagine it takes a little longer to get to California. Best of luck to you!

Finally went to "under review" after almost 13 weeks of absolutely nothing
 
any ims students reading this out there? any word to those who got the guaranteed interview?

they told me over the phone yesterday by accident that i'm waitlisted. 🙁

for those who are asking, they are still accepting ppl.. my roommate is also an ims student, and only had his interview last week, w a bunch of other non-ims applicants. ducom held their last interviews last week, so if ppl are still waiting to get an interview, it probably wont happen 🙁. it's probably gonna be at least a few weeks before the committee gives my roommate his decision, so i wouldn't expect the waitlist to move until then at least..

Sorry to hear you're on the waitlist disqfish, I think we're all waiting for the response from DUCOM today. The office said they sent out letters on Monday, but it was probably Monday night so effectively it was sent out on Tuesday. Bottom line: we're all sitting by the mailbox waiting.
 
I know...the waiting "game" is taking forever! (who decided it should be called a game anyways? I thought games were supposed to be fun...)

I just want in ANYWHERE...I got the "game over" from everywhere last year...not a fun "game" at all...

I just sent my withdraw letter today. I'm sure those of you on the waitlist have a good chance of getting in, Good luck!
 
Has anyone whose status changed to "final decision has been made" on 4/4 received the decision letter?

Technically it's only been 3 1/2 weeks since my Drexel interview, but I was on hold post-interview at UCSF for almost 16 weeks before I got rejected. I also just found out today that I've been waitlisted at UC Irvine after waiting 8 weeks (not that long, I know, but 2 weeks longer than they said it would take, and 2 weeks after a friend of mine that interviewed the same day got accepted). No acceptances yet... Come on Drexel!!! Good luck to everyone still waiting!:luck:
 
I just received my acceptance letter yesterday 4/21/08. Interviewed on Dec 1st. 4 months to decide. Should I take four months to accept or reject them too?:meanie:

Congrats, and thanks for posting this. It makes me still have hope for an acceptance even though I've been waiting a while as well.
 
just out of curiosity. out of all the people that are waiting, if you got accepted to drexel, would you be coming?? 1st choice? only choice? still debating?? other?

check out the drexel waitlist thread. we're hoping for some movement around may 15th, but other than that, i don't think anyone really knows much. good luck! :luck:

interviewed early feb and still waiting as well..not my first choice but if it's the only other place i get in i may go = still debating! good luck:luck:
 
Quick question(s): for all the people who said "my status updated to under review"

1) did you get an email notifying you of this?

or

2) did you just check your status page (mine still says interview scheduled)

I interviewed in March and am eagerly awaiting a response as this is my last school.

I just checked my status page every now and then, and one day it happened to change from the "interview scheduled" page. It took 12 or 13 weeks to happen though. I still have the "member of the admissions committee" page up so I'm thinking I have another couple weeks to wait.

I think the Committee meets Thursday and changes are posted Fridays but I see nothing. Just checking.

I interviewed waaaay back in early December. I had abosolutely no status change until mid-March. They really took their time with me.

yea i interviewed on 2/25 and got my letter (waitlist) this week on 4/23 which was dated 4/14
if it says on your application status that a decision has been reached, you can call and ask them to fax it to you

so how long do people have to wait after going to the full committee to get a decision? Is it usually the next meeting, or am I going to spend yet another month in Limbo? Also, is the Adcom meeting more frequently since May 15th is approaching?
 
my status just changed to decision has been made. . .i called in to see if I could get a fax and he said the letters for the decisions which were inputed friday have not been printed. . .ahhhh!!

But, the magic question is: When did you interview?
 
feb 7, ive been waiting awhile- but looking at the other posts some people interviewed in january and just found out- so drexel is taking their sweet time. . .
 
based on alot of the posts it doesnt seem that when you interview correlates very well to when you should be receiving a decision, I interviewed 2/26, got the decision made status change on 4/4 and received my acceptance letter on 4/23. A long wait can still equal an acceptance so keep your hopes up and good luck!

Congrats, are you going to go? Good luck Ha2doc, man, i can't imagine waiting by the fax for an answer, that must be intense.

Yeah, 80 versus 40 days wait is a big difference. I wonder why it varies that much ... maybe just waiting for the interviewers to get their write-ups in ...
 
Got my wait-list notification for Drexel today. Woe. 🙁 Anyone have any idea how full the class is looking this year?

PrettyyyGood, I interviewed in January, 1/11 I think. I'm pretty bummed because I got REALLY good feedback from my interviewers. Ah well. Here's hoping they're being REALLY conservative in acceptances and they need to pull us ALL off the WL.
 
to those who got the following message online:
"Your file is currently under review by a member of the admissions committee and will be sent to committee shortly. No decision has yet been made regarding your admission status to Drexel University"
how long did you have to wait before a decision was made and you received the decision?
