Drexel Secondary Online Issue problem

I thought I would make a post about this about Drexel's secondary online application.

I cannot seem to submit it, and from the looks of other posts, a lot of people have this problem.

Upon filling out the "pdf online" application, I signed it and finalized it.

It takes me to another screen, where an information bar pops up prompting me of some script that is being run.

I right clicked on the bar to tell it to run the script, a window message box from drexel pops up saying that my application is complete, do i want to submit it...

I clicked OK, and I am led to a "page cannot be displayed" page.

The status of my applicatoin says I have not submitted my secondary.

I have tried this several times.

For those of you who have submitted the application online, how did you do it? I am sure a lot of people will be grateful for any information.

it happened to me too. Try just sending it WITHOUT saving it or doing anything else

Since we're posting drexel app issues . . .

I have a mac and couldn't get the PDF to work so I mailed mine in last week. I was in the first group to get it and I mailed it the next day, so I feel like they should have recieved it by now, but my status still says not submitted.

Has anyone else mailed theirs in and had their status updated??

Does anyone know how to bypass that internet explorer infformation bar? that MIGHT be the issue causing this.

Mozilla also doesnt work for me. Everytime i access the secondary pdf (seriously, what kinda ******ed school does an online pdf), the pdf shows up as internet explorer. anyone know how to make the pdf show up in mozilla?

On my 3rd attempt, I got through and on status page, it says my application has been submitted.

THEN, when i logged on like few mins later to make sure everything went ok, it says NOT SUBMITTED!!!

I called them and the admission lady told me to email technical person.

I submitted mine on the 15th of August and now it says not submitted. So I think its a general problem. If it's not fixed by Monday evening, I'll call on Tuesday. Keep us posted on the response you get from tech support.

I haven't received words from Drexel yet but I had access to a friend's pdf version and mailed it in, I hope this won't be a problem.

I was verified 8/7 and I still haven't received a secondary or any sort of email from them. I emailed them and they said "There has been a high volume with signing on for the secondaries, we suggest you keep trying until you are able to logon" which obviously does not answer my question 😕 ...an auto reply??

I have received all my other non-prescreeners...how long did it take everyone else after they were verified??

I tried to submit the secondary from a different computer. It said it was submitted. However, I just checked and the status changed to "not submitted"....haha at least I know now it's not my computer causing the problems.

They were one of the last schools to send out their secondary. Didn't even start until August 14th, even for people who were verified at the very beginning of June. In the past week there has been no real pattern in terms of alphabetical, or what date you were verified, to correspond to the order that SDNers have received the secondary. Sorry, you'll just have to be patient.

i'm in the same boat as the rest of you. i submitted on the 15th and saw that 'not submitted' message yesterday. i actually called them and the woman that answered said my file is complete, and that there is just a problem with the server. chances are everyone who submitted during that time is fine, but you might want to call to make sure.

I paid the fee and I have email receipt. But it says I am not paid. I had other problems before this. It is a serious business for applicants and for schools alike. I am just surprised a system with so many obvious problems would be put to use. It is the schools' market, not the applicants'. So I decided just to put up with it.

Has anyone submitted theirs online successfully using a Mac?
I can only download and print the pdf, but then I have to hand fill it since I have Preview, not Acrobat, and the spaces are too small to really write anything legible.

i submitted it online and it works. I had to test out 3 different computers (they were all windows xp pro) and for some reason, my thrid computer attempted worked.
