Work in an ortho group. Get sent “crps” all the time rarely is.

It’s not just unexplained pain. Saw a legit crps today on a 31 year old. Sympathetic block upcoming

Same. I get it too. Never positive Budapest.

Post nerve catheter pain is common. Post op neuralgia is common. Foot and ankle surgery sucks.

DRG stim takes such a long time and so much radiation. I do think it is best for isolated pelvic and foot pains. How do you guys turn a profit on it?

if you do it regularly it takes as long as regular scs for 2 leads in the office. I’d add knee and groin pain in that as best indications. Doesn’t require as much live flouro with more repetition.

in my experience groin pain after hernia surgery was a great place to start as leads are very easy here and it works well at T12-L1

you would have to get over the crps discussion already in this thread in order to effectively treat your patient though...

Legit Budapest criteria CRPS LLE patient new to me today. Not on opiates. Elavil 25mg qhs for sleep. Failed opiates, neuropathics, SNRI.
Had DRG trial, implant, and explant within 6 months at local competition. She kept hoping it would work.. Awaiting records. Will try PT, bisphos, clonidine, baclofen.
bisphos?

What is your preferred bisphosphonate regimen for CRPS?

70mg qweek. Otherwise insurance and pharmacy issues.
