I know I am probably ok but I would like some of your advice on this issue.
So, I have been working in 1 lab for a few year and I enjoy my work here but I joined a second lab simultaneously for some diversified experience. However, I do not enjoy this lab and want to drop the independent research course associated with it halfway through the semester. This will show up as a drop on my transcript. Will this drop be a big deal? I am picking up the extra credits in my first lab so my credit load will not change.
