A friend of mine actually did this. Except to the extreme. After they got their acceptance letter, they dropped their entire senior spring semester. The only credit keeping them from having a BS degree is a semester of chem (I don't remember the chem class in specific). They went on to dental school and have a successful private practice. I failed to mention that this was "back in the day," I don't see this happening now and getting away with it. But a single class, possibly, as long as you graduate with a degree.
I know a lot of schools don't require biochem, but I still intend on taking it. Even if I got accepted I would probably keep all of my classes for the upcoming semester. Or maybe switch a class to something that interests my a little more. Like swapping biochem for hematology, hypothetically (I would take both though).
