I am in my senior year applying to grad schools in december. I am taking an upper level statistics class and am thinking about dropping it. It has nothing to do with the fact that I am lacking skills in statistics, rather that the course is taught out of the math department and the professor really has no idea what he/she is talking about. If I drop the class I will only have had entry level stats and I know that schools want higher level math, but if I stay in the class I don't even know if I'll get a C which would severly bring my GPA down. At this point if I withdrawl I will get a W, and I have heard that it really won't matter, but I don't want this to aid in me not getting in. I guess the question is: Should I stay or should I go?
