Hello everyone. I mistakenly chose Human Anatomy as a class to take my first semester of college. I thought it would be doable since I had taken a great Anatomy class in HS. But I'm doing terribly right now and I don't know what to do. I've gotten a D and C on the first two tests and an F on the Lab midterm. It seems impossible to get my grade up now. If I drop it now, I'd have to pay back a scholarship program (about $300). I don't know if I should keep on trying or get a W and have to pay.

Please help, any insight is helpful! Thank you

A W is infinitely better than a D or F I was told by my premed advisors. I'd say it's worth the $300 to potentially not damage your MD application.
