Is it bad if you get a "W" for withdrawing from a class you didn't need for the school you want to go to if it was required from another school?

I guess it depends on the reason you withdrew and how well you can explain it

I think it may depend more on the rest of your coursework and your grades. If you have a good GPA and you happened to withdraw from one class, it's not a big deal. If you don't have the best GPA, you might want to consider staying in the class. Good luck!

I had quite a few W's, but I don't know it they were for classes I didn't need for the school that I want to go to if they were required by another school.

In fact, I don't even know what that means.

Heh, you're worried about one little W? Try five, with three of them in one semester.

Yeah, it won't be cute.

thanks spunky and mila, that really helps relieve some of my stress. I think i'll call the school and see what they think, but I appreciate the advice.
