A. I called the school to make sure they didn't require the degree as a condition of acceptance. They don't.

B. To get the degree itself in time I'd have to take summer classes right up until med school starts.

C. If I'm not planning on finishing the degree would bad things happen if I drop out right now so the only thing on my transcript for this school would be 4 Ws.

D. My program puts you on probation if you get below a 3.0. Due to taking 2+ weeks off for interviews plus the reduced focus for a few days after getting decisions I can't guarantee I'd finish with a 3.0. Could being put on probation jeopardize matriculation?

E. I could hybridize, drop one of the courses and probably guarantee a 4.0 for the semester on the rest.

Any thoughts?

I'd drop it, I was in a similar situation and I didn't need to complete the program.

My roommate dropped out of his PhD program after one year to go to medical school and had no problems except severely pissing off his graduate advisor. I also only think terms for retracting an acceptance would be if you failed to complete undergraduate pre-reqs or falsified information in your application. I however completed my masters and after I am finished with medical school it will be useless in comparison, but it does look good on the resume.
