Dryerase boards

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Its not a "board".

Its a plastic sheet, with grids on it (ya know, grid papers, like the ones engineers use).

As far as erasing goes.... its not very easy (but not too hard either). I remember, I used to do all my practice problems on the dry-erase. that way I can speed up my writing with markers and erasing.

You have to press down when you erase.... at first it feels weird (cause it sicks) but as you do it more, you get used to it.

its standard 8x11 paper. with a minor caveat on the one side of both sheets you lose like the top 1/6 or so with prometric writing some useless crap on it. someone who just took it can tell you. I remember it being some stupid advertisement.

but its looks just like this. http://www.scienceaide.com/gridscratchsheet.php

erasers can be hit or miss. Mine worked at 1st but eventually couldn't get stuff off without making a huge mess. I end up just spitting on the boards and using my white tshirt to clean it. I didn't care. Clock was ticking and clothes can be washed. Plus its plain tshirt I can go to target and buy a 6 pack. I have the same attitude going in, 3 weeks from now.

lmao..... Weren't there like 10 other people in the room taking other tests? I can imagine these guys going "wtf is this guy doing"

I remember reading about someone who wore a dark long sleeve shirt and used their sleeves as an eraser.

I wore a hoodie and used the sleeve, it worked great.

Just a note, someone mentioned this a while back but I totally forgot, the markers dry out SUPER quick. I left the cap off and was thinking about a question and by the time I went to use it, it was all dried out. At halftime I asked the guy for like 3 markers just in case. So dont forget to put the caps back on after each time you use it. It cost me time trying to get them to work again.
