When I see the number of hurdles an applicant needs to scale in order to gain admission to medical school, it makes me want to develop a "must have" metric and peddle it to schools (along with a free tote and set of ginsu knives) for 4 easy-to-make installments of $29k (plus monthly recurring costs . . . see the miniscule, almost invisible fine print below). It seems like they can't resist the door-to-door salesman who offers them the next "new-and-improved" hurdle that they can add to their existing ever-growing gauntlet.
