You know I was just thinking about schools today and how the competitiveness of a school relates to the overall happiness of the student. I have heard over and over about how the student that eventually get into medical school are displeased with the situation and what not of the profession that they have picked out for a vast assortment of reasons. But those first 2 years, maybe 3? Does it matter big time on what school you go to do ya think? People that go to a top 10 school are happier because they are surrounded by others who are on a equal playing field in terms of their "smarts" or drive to become a great doctor? Or are the ones that go to a D.O. school happier because they are surrounded by people who might not be gunners as much? Any input is welcome.
