To those that have used destroyer Biology and taken the DAT. Does the actual DAT rely on Which of the following statements are true or false question types like in destroyer? and is the e) "all of the above are true" or "all of the above are false" as a generalized answer as prevalent? or is this a destroyer tactic in order to bunch 4 random bio facts together in one question?

Thanks in advance

pretty sure it's the latter. However all facts in the question have been things that have appeared on previous DAT so it really helps to understand all the choices. It's basically like reading a DAT book when you read through the Destroyer answers and they are very clear and easier to remember based on a multiple choice question.

Thank you!
I have been working my way through the bio and ANKIing wrong answers and those all or the above questions are driving me nuts!

I agree with you. I just cracked open my dat destroyer today and hit up the bio section. The "two of the above" answer is tricky!

Also, for question 51 about which of the following isn't an assumption for Hardy-Weinburg, what does it mean by "no isolation"? I thought that that should have been the answer because isolation means there is no migration into the population, so "no isolation" isn't a H-W assumption?

Also, the DAT destroyer seems to ask you to know way more details than the Kaplan does. Does anyone have comments about this?

thanks!

There is a post a few clicks down there asking about that same question 51. I had already read through that so I knew the correct answer. To me its just wacky wording its believed to be referring to allopatric speciation. As in "no geographical isolation." Anyways two people put that book out so its not like its a publishing house that proofs everything a bunch, I mean it was more or less printed at kinkos (still love it though 😉 There have been quite a few questions in destroyer that have some odd wording which has lead to the wrong answer which doesn't happen in barrons, cliffs, or kaplan. I am just going through destroyer once and ANKIing what I get wrong.
