hey everybody!

i just submitted my application to aadsas today. I am worried about it being late. some people had told me that I should have submitted it on June 1st to have a better chance of getting interviews and stuff. I am wondering if this is still considered "early" compared to most or am I late?? will this hurt me? also, does it really take aadsas 4-8 weeks to send it out to my schools?? please, if anyone can offer an opinion on this I'd appreciate it. Thanks!!

No you are not late, but you are also not early anymore either. I would say applications sent by late June would still be early while applications submitted in September or later are late. Anyway, your application will still be reviewed in time for all but the first session or two of interviews at most schools so you shouldn't stress too much. And yes, unfortunately, it does take AADSAS a good 6 weeks or so to send your actual application to the individual schools. Good Luck.

thanks for your response! is there any way to make aadsas process go faster? I was hoping that since I already had all the rec. letters in and transcript matching forms in it would take less time, maybe not. oh well.

I would say that some school might consider you early while others might say your lated. Also some times it might just depend on how many people are ahead of you... and how many come in after you... I think it's all relative.

As for the AADSAS speed, good luck if you can figure out how to speed up those turtles we will be glad to know!

well the thing is that even though they might have been sitting on your transcripts for a while they won't actually begin to verify you transcripts and calculate your GPA until after you submit/pay your fee. Could be 2-3 weeks from now till it gets sent
