Just a random question...

I applied for Early Decision and I understand that I'm bound to certain terms within AMCAS, but can I "legally" apply to non-AMCAS schools or DO schools before being accepted/deffered/rejected from EDP? Just curious.

Hmm. That is an interesting question.

Technically they don't fall under the same system......

If it's possible/legal...then go for it.

Yup, you can apply to other programs. You're only locked into AMCAS participating programs. So, if you wanted to apply to podiatry programs at the same time or creative writing, go for it. EDP will prevent you from attending other AMCAS participating programs. BUt they have no control over other entities.
