Not sure what advice you need - do it. Gives you two shots at your first pick school. Although, I think LLU tends to cherry pick out of other SDA undergraduate schools for early decision - but there is a new batch in admission office since my time. Are you SDA? If not, you'll probably want to have a pretty competitive application along with serious Christian mission interests/experiences . . .
