If I am applying for early decision, am I at an advantage if I submit my application at an earlier date, or are all of the early decision applications processed at once?

Thanks.

This is my take on it ...... I might be wrong ........

All the decisions for early-decision are made before by Oct 1st so i think all the decisions are made in one sitting just before that date. However, the earlier you finish ur file, the better chances you have of getting interview because the LORs and stuff can take time so it is always a good idea to have ur file complete.

Hey all!

I applied early decision to UPenn. For early decision, my AMCAS had to be in as early as possible but no later than Aug. 1st. However, all my supporting documents for UPenn (LORs, secondary) had to be in by Aug. 15th. My interview was in mid-Sept. All early decision applicants that were chosen to interview interviewed on the same day. I submitted my application in late June. I would recommend that you send in your apps as soon as possible. Also, get your letters of recommendation in order and send them ASAP. If you search SDN, you can probably find the questions on the secondary of the school you will be applying to so you can get a head start on the application. Good luck! :luck:
