I am a reapplicant for 2004 with much improved stats. Does anyone know if any of the osteopathic schools do early decision(acceptance)? What are the criteria for early decision?

TUCOM has an early decision option but you must be selected for it. They usually have minimum requirements each year for gpa and MCAT. I applied thru this program for 2003 and was lucky enough to be offered an interview and an acceptance. It was absolutely worth it for me because it was my #1 choice school AND I spent less than $300 during the application cycle, while others I know have spent thousands.

I would email the director of admissions at TUCOM if you are interested in this school and ask what the criteria for the 2004 cycle are going to be. Dr. Haight is awesome and is always up front with any information about their program.

Some schools with EDP

Michigan
Kirksville
Texas

That's what I found with a quick google search. Lecom doesn't say anything about EDP so I assume they don't participate.

Thanks green912 and maysqrd. I found that comp has early decision as well. For comp MCAT must be average of 9 and an overall 3.3 GPA. Also the deadline for the info is May 15th for some of the programs.

From the PDF I have in front of me, it say: "Early Decision Program: (Texas Tech and UNTHSC- TCOM) Must be submitted by August 1,2003 and the certification page, fees adn photgraphs must be received by August 10,2003."

I have a question,

#1) If I get EVERYTHING in except the MCAT, because I'm taking it August 16, can I participate in this program?

If anyone know, thanks. DcK
