I just started my first term of college. I will surely be transferring to a different college. But as I succeed in this college, I want my achievements to be remembered.
Right now I have a professor willing to write me a Letter of recommendation.
May I have the professor send the LOR through Interfolio so I have it stored for use in later years?

And what should be included in that LOR?
Would my professor need to include my AAMC ID as well as a AMCAS Letter ID? Or since the Letter ID is subject to change, shall my AAMC ID just be included?

- I just realized this is the DO forum, but I believe the same procedure is required with ID information, needed or not in LOR's

Worth noting that some schools require letters to be written within 2 years of application. The class taught (course title, course abbreviation, semester(s) taught), date written, recommendation on official school letterhead, credentials of professor, handwritten signature, professor contact information.
