im having a hard time remembering the two equations for standing waves in a tube. 😡 does anyone know any mneumonics for these?

both ends open: lamda = 2L/n (n=1,2,3)
one end closed: lamda = 4L/n (n=odd)

You don't need to memorize anything if you understand that closed ends are always nodes and open ends are always antinodes. You can easily draw the first harmonic and figure out whether it's a half lambda or a quarter lambda from that.
