I have an experience that is a research volunteer experience, because students usually do the typical research duties (data aggregation, lit reviews, etc), but most of the time is spent doing neurocognitive asessments and using eye tracking technology (to test for potential TBI) on patients that come into the hospital.

Would this be seen as more of a clinical experience or should this still be listed as a research experience?

I think you can list it as either! I think as long as whatever activity you are listing reasonably falls under the category selected, it's fine. I would recommend listing it under whichever of those two categories you have less activities for, in order to diversify your activities section.

^pretty good idea.

I'd put it under research and reflect it like a clinic volunteer if you think that is better suited. I think most people have more clinical volunteering stuff than research, so maybe putting it under research is a better idea.

If you’re working in a position formally for research, then put it under research. You can spin in your description your clinical takeaways from it but in the end you were picked to work as a research volunteer not a clinical volunteer
