Well, I'm going to go against my own advice and post a thread bloody early in the morning, but I want to get it out there lest I forget. Anyway, this fall will be the beginning of my official sophomore year (I was duel enrolled for 1.5 yrs). So far, my volunteering has been great; I started at a free clinic this summer and I love it, plus they will keep me on indefinitely so that is perfect. I predict that I will have somewhere around 800-1000 clinical hours by the time I apply in fall 2015. This will include a lot of shadowing because I work with doctors all the time. I am a clarinetist of eight years but have been limited to playing twice a week in my church orchestra (five years) and not really growing as a musician. I cannot join my school's symphony this semester due to scheduling issues. I am a four year member of a dove hunting club and that activity probably totals 500 hours. Do ya'll think I'm on the right track with my ECs, because to me, they feel pretty skinny in terms of diversity. I am particularly eager to expand my musicianship, but have not been given that option as of yet. Any help will be appreciated.
P.S. I'm a vegetarian (yes, one who hunts, I know). I like to try cooking a variety of vegetarian meals. Valuable? IDK.
