Seeing the EC related posts on here got me thinking:
When I first wrote my EC descriptions, they were long. Like most were 1000-1300+ characters. But, choosing to be less wordy & more succint, I pulled out the "why I did this" and "what I got from it" (as most was obvious - like shadowing - duh! I gained insight into the realm of medicine, what being a dr's like, what medical training is like [shadowed the ICU team at a teaching hospital]). In the end, most of mine were fairly short. The longer ones were like my current jobs (I'm out of school & in the workforce) and research experiences.
It's too late for me to change anything & I'm comfortable with my choice, but (for curiosity's sake) what did you opt for?
