EC in post secondary experiences and PS?

If I'll be writing about an EC in my PS should I bother to list it under the post secondary experiences? Is this redundancy or does it have the possibility of being overlooked if it's only in my essay in a qualitative form?

Sorry for not using the AMCAS thread, it's almost too large and too often replied to to be useful

I believe the purpose of post secondary experiences is to explain what you did exactly, while the purpose of the PS is to explain what you learned and how you were impacted by these experiences. Thus it should be listed in both, but in a different manner.

I had questions about this too, because it says in the instruction book "it isn't necessary to repeat information reported elsewhere on your application".
So what I did was just put my post-secondary experiences in that section and not mention them in my PS. But if you have more to talk about for your post-secondary experience I would put it in the post-sec section and then talk more about it in your PS.
