And yet another EC thread...

I know it's not much of an accomplishment to be a member of a pre-med club, but what about being the co-founder of the campus pre-health club? My campus was the only one in the area that didn't have such a club, so me and a friend started a group to help support the school's pre-health students.
 
Rather than justifying it as doing it because it hadn't been done yet, you should probably focus more on what you plan within the club. It's a great opportunity to show leadership and drive by planning community service activities, get togethers, etc...

Yeah, I wouldn't mention that we did b/c it hadn't been done...we really just want an organized way to have people that have already through the application process mentor first and second year students. I think in some ways we can do a better job of helping students than our pre-health advisors, and the pre-health advisors like the idea b/c it will help keep neurotic pre-meds from wanting to meet with them 8 times per semester.
 
It can't hurt, so it will help.
